The Bursich story is one of growth, continuous improvement, and adapting to market conditions. Edward Bursich, Jack Serdy, and a single employee started out more than 35 years ago with a vision of providing civil engineering and surveying services to clients in the Delaware Valley. Bursich has diversified its territory and offerings and grown substantially since that time.
Bursich was founded in Phoenixville, moved to Downingtown, and settled in Pottstown, where the headquarters have been located since 1976. The firm established a Leesport office in 2002 after recognizing a need for high-quality civil engineering services in Berks County and the Lehigh Valley.
New leadership took the helm in 2007 and elevated Bursich to the next level. Bursich acquired EDM Consultants in 2006 and placed a greater emphasis on water, wastewater, and municipal engineering. This acquisition expanded the firm's footprint to include two additional offices. More importantly, it enhanced the quality and diversity of Bursich's lifeblood: its staff.
Today, Bursich employs more than 40 professionals with strategic locations in Montgomery and Bucks counties. Our vision is to cultivate a reputation as a consulting engineering and surveying firm that is the company of choice for clients and employees alike.
